Is It Okay to Display Artifacts in Museums?

The King's Marx was a very spiritual, a very specific item. It wasn't like something the Benin people displayed for anyone to come look at some sort of artwork. So that is a classic example of the way in which certain artifacts are mistreated as artworks in Europe. Arabia suggests that it's only when objects were actually intended for artistic purposes, that it's okay to display them in museums or art galleries today.
