What Is Fluorescence and How Does It Work?
Fluorescence is the phenomenon of shifting one wavelength of light into another. There are lots of different kinds of glowing, from bioluminescence to fluoresce. Some molecules can absorb ultraviolet light and re-emmit it in a way that pushes it into the visible spectrum so we can see it.
