The Problem Isn't the Builders, It's the Problem
Wages have failed to keep pace with rising housing costs, says Clive Betts. This means that however much we increase the supply of new private housing, it will have limited bearing on those on low wages. He claims some are exacerbating the crisis by taking too long to build their large developments after winning planning permission.
