I hope that if any of my students who actually teach in class, I hope if any of them are listening to this, they think, wow, he's really talking. But maybe the students are like, really? Because it's not obvious. This is how it is for me. So yeah, it allows me to use some acting skills, like if I need to act things out and some stand up comedy skills as well. Like for example, changing your voice or acting something out, acting out a scenario pretending to be two people talking to each other. Giving examples of language or situations by kind of acting them out and acting out responses to what someone says,. For example, pronunciation.
This is the longest episode of LEP so far, and it's a solo ramble. I talk freely about a lovely day I had in Paris earlier this year, which really stuck in my memory. Relax, follow my words, hang out with me for 3 hours, get stranded on a desert island of the imagination, and then get rescued. Includes a haircut, a sleep and a t-shirt change during the episode.
