The Battle Over the Regency in 1842

When Louis-Philippe abdicated in favor of his now nine-year-old grandson, Philippe, the regency question was suddenly back in play. The battle over the regency in 1842 featured almost all the same players as the Revolution of 1848. Those who lost the battle on regent in 1842 were now the victors in the Revolution of1848.
