Christmas Movies Show Us the World That We Aspire To

In your article you say that Christmas films don't show us the world that we do live in but instead they show us an idealized world that we could aspire to. One of my wife's favorite movies is the family stone and it's a good movie I mean it kind of clicked in my brain once I read the the line from you about that. In the bottom line of most of the of the stories are are the same right all the all these hallmarks movies and some very intelligent people with advanced degrees who just love to sit in front of them.
