Women Going Beyond Gender Roles

There are artificial gender roles that we create based on. Why can't men be empathetic? And also, I think the larger point is that even if you assume that men and women are hardwired differently it's important to treat both sexes equally. The idea is that women are seen to be doing certain type of jobs but they are trained to do those jobs too. It's a vicious circle where you are training to do the sort of thing you are expected to do and therefore you end up doing just that. This is an under-the- onion story about how one woman in Taksishila has transcended gender roles.
