Warren Farrel was to speak at the university of toronto. He became famous when he published a book in the 19 seventies called the myth of male power. The students that, ah attended that protest knew nothing about warren farrel. They hadn't read him. They weren't protesting him. They were protesting because their women studies teacher had taken a single quottionof out of one of his books from decades previously and alleged that he was some sort of rape apologist. Every man who spoke in any way sceptically about feminist claims about sexual assault and sexual harassment was a rape apologist - they came out to make sure nobody could attend his talk.
