What Color Is a Star?
The human eye is simply incapable of being able to see white light as the rainbow except under certain circumstances, like specifically a rainbow. But even then you're not really getting the truth about what light consists of and that's just light. Our senses are channels of information which need to be interpreted but by the way they can be filled with error or incomplete. So it simply isn't the case that our senses tell the truth. It's wrong, it's misconceived.
