Ingeropke is an ecological economist, a professor at Albok University in Copenhagen. She has published on several topics within the field but most relevant for today's episode are two articles from 2004 and 2005 where she explores the early history of the field. The first thoughts that we now consider the basics of ecological economics were published in the 70s. Over 50 years have passed, and the concerns that were raised back then are concerns that we all have today,. facing ecological and social limits to growth.
