A viral respiratory infection without significant inflammation or pathogenic organisms in the middle ear could increase the risk of fluid. It's more likely than a clear ear to have conductive hearing loss, and this has been proven to be more so of a problem in children who have socio-cultural risk factors for learning issues. "I will say similar to a little bit of redness or ear tucking without a fever, those I feel pretty comfortable being able to say non-infectious or talented," she says.
