The Heart Can Close, Sometimes There's No Opening It

When the heart closes, sometimes there's no opening it. The best gift you can give to some one like that is to say, i understand. It does hurt not being with you, but i would rather see you happy without me than unhappy with me not seing you. I define love as supporting some one's path to happiness. When you empower someone with the gift of choice, it usually puts you in a better light. You are letting them know that you are not going to interfere with the path they want to follow.
