Is Shamima Bagan a Muslim?
I taught in a school in Tower Hamlet down the road from where Shamima Bagan went to school. They were most of the girls I taught were Bangladeshi girls. She was never allowed to have a boyfriend. Never allowed to go to nightclubs. Wasn't allowed the liberal freedoms of a white western girl. And that is an important point that they were Muslim and she was Muslim because it legitimizes what she did, he says. He thinks there are many factors here which are really annoying me.
