Are Stablecoins a Threat to National Security?
The House Financial Services Committee is considering a bill that would require stablecoins to be backed up 100% by high quality liquid assets. The more strategic national risk aspect, though, comes from the Federal Reserve in this creation of a central bank digital currency. We've said that this legislation we think will pass next year or some form of this legislation will passed next year.
