How to Write a Journal for Recovery

There are multiple studies that show journal writing, sometimes called focused expressive writing, helps people heal. It was discovered accidentally in a study on sexual assault victims 20 years ago. Among other things, it's been shown to help people process job loss and to find a job quicker. Everything about one's experience does something to the brain and the body that helps pull you to the other side of whatever it is you're going through. Or even if you've thought you've gotten to the other Side, that's the amazing thing that I've seen. The workshop is called Third Story.
