The Servant of the Jews and of the Gentiles

Paul intentionally chooses to quote four different passages that speak of the mystery Rome is experiencing. Paul points out yet again that this is what God has always been up to and they are part of it. The Jews are reminded of God's plan proclaimed by the prophets to have the Gentiles and worship next to them. At the same time, the Gentiles have an opportunity to realize that they quote Rejoice in the company of his people.
