The Face Men of Silicon Valley

The Silicon Valley is really like a reboot, if you will, of the Gilded Age narratives in the late 19th century. The Rockefellers started basically getting involved in social engineering in the early 20th century. And then eventually, I think during the New Deal era, a lot of them like went into government. Sometimes they get into more cultural type stuff and become hippies and do new shit that's usually a natural next step for these families as they accrue mass amounts of wealth.
