The BLS Changes Their CPI Calculation Basket
The BLS has once again changed their CPI calculation basket. Now instead of measuring from a two year comp, we're only going to measure it from a one year comp. And so as we're measuring from the high point of energy, oil prices, inflation, it's automatically going to come down and look less. I believe that we're seeing some of the lowest inflation we'll see for the rest of the decade.
