The Role of Culture in Organizational Behavior

Culture can be broken down into three levels: macro, sub, micro. In the outermost circle, we have culture; in the next layer are norms and behaviors. A norm is a shared behavior that affects all of its surrounding activities. The fundamental unit of culture is modeling and rewarding vulnerability. All it takes is two people for this to apply across these circles.
