How Much Waste Is Too Much Waste?
I think people always have a tendency to think they have less than they actually have. I say it really does depend on a specific application. Some cases, 20% is a lot of waste, sometimes 20% is no waste,. It's not like back in the days where you have that procurement process and you buy just in case of that rainy day comes in. If you properly tune your environment using those internal mechanisms such as auto scaling, using HPA properly, you should be able to have very little access capacity.
