CHAPTER

Is It a Shakespeare Play?

The title of the play, while we're talking about it, is actually a pun which no longer makes sense. The word nothing in Shakespearean times was pronounced much like we say, noting. And the plot is driven by characters overhearing each other, noting things down and also taking note of each other. Well, that's made a lot worse in my eyes. This is why we should always steer clear of puns. I mean, to be fair, our podcast, Lawmen, it's a pun and that it doesn't work. So I have a lot of sympathy for it was instantly out of date when we came up with that pungent pun.
