The development of reinforcement learning allowed us to learn something about how humans operated. The brain has a model of what reward it's going to receive in future, and then when its estimate of the future reward changes, that causes it to be able to learn in that moment what has made. And so it tells us that we're not different at all from one another. We really are discovering some fundamental learning mechanisms that evolved by evolution.
