Toxic Substances Act

The toxic substances act would require someone in the government declaring c o two to be a toxic substance. A petition at the e p a rate has been filed asking them to make a determination on weather greenhouse gases pose a risk to human health or the environment. I think it's very unlikely that a bit an e p a will come out and say greenhouse gases pose no threat to human health, but they have 60 days to reply. And the toxic substances can tro act was just strengthened with bi partisan support in 20 16 to explicitly say that they must make decisions about how to reduce the s of a toxic substance absent political concerns or financial concerns.
