The first white child whose case was decided by the juvenile courts was sent to live with his grandmother. Corporal punishment disproportionately used on black children. The disparities are like blatant in the South especially. And you generally just sort of see the juvenile justice system absorbing the disparities of Jim Crow in the South and the sort of regularized racism of the rest of the country.
