Isometric Exercises and Hypertrophy Training

The onlyie group that shows reliable improvement in hypertrophy with respect to training to failure are untrained individuals using isolation exercises. If you're generating a lot more fatigue by going all the way to failure, guess what? You can't do as much volume. The takeaway here is that if you're doing too much volume, and we have studies where people are doing tons and tons of volume and don't really grow that much, that doesn't tell me that muscular perchry is not a strong predictor of muscle growth.
