Gene Seymour: I think that has even been somewhat at least empirically proven that your musical taste does, for most people anyway, tend to set during adolescence. And so as a gen X or for me, it's 80s pop, yes, right? Mm-hmm. Seymour: Maybe a neuro neurological thing or something, a neuro pathways laid down for classic rock. He says he appreciates grunge from the 90s and Madonna and Michael Jackson in the 80s but they just don't touch his soul like classic rock does.

The United States is currently home to six generations of people. She has also been featured on Today, Good Morning America, Fox and Friends, CBS This Morning, and NPR. She lives in San Diego with her husband and three daughters.
