The Importance of Dark Energy

I would not have thought that we could have learned anything from the web. But one of my students took this idea that galaxies are forming earlier than they should to heart. It may have given us some insight, but it certainly changed my thinking in the sense of saying, you need to have an open mind about what you can learn. Any new instrument you put on the universe has the potential to teach you about any phase of the universe.
