Space Invaders was the next biggest game after pong to come along in 1978. It became such an overnight success in Japan that people rented empty commercial spaces and just put Space Invaders in there. There was a nationwide shortage of hundred yen coins because these storefronts with the Space Invaders machines were sucking them up Crazy pretty cool. Dave Ambusters had a probably probably 10 foot Tall Space Invaders.
