The Importance of Fake Businesses

Long form podcasting is probably the bright spot and everything that's going on because you actually have people doing what institutional media used to do. So whatever Walter Cronkite and Eric Severide and Richard Threlkel were doing as American reporters back in the 60s and 70s that's now being done by people like Sam Harris or Joseph Walker. You can actually weirdly just barely earn a living outside of the institutional structures by speaking about the truth. People don't trust the institutional pressures are different than the pressures on an individual.
