How to Master a Mix

Mastering is not about a chain. You can have a chain that you like. And in fact, I'll tell everybody what it is. It's invisible limiter into fire the clip into FabFilter Pro L2. But all of them are set to default it as in they're not doing jack shit. They do whatever I tell it to do. So if you notice, they don't have any tonal characteristics outside of transient shaping through limiting and clipping. Even the clipper, I like it to be as inaudible as possible. Reason being is if I can push it a little more and that's all it needs, chances are that that's all the client wanted.
