The Trouble With Toys R Us
Toys R Us was a write off for the firms, but it was still a company. It had real operations, real debt to be paid. The problem was they were unable to get lenders to work with them on a kind of deal. They realized, oh, we're going to have to file for bankruptcy. Now filing for bankruptcy is one of those things that sounds terrible and obviously it's not great,. But it's not always a death knell for a company.
