Studying a Jewish Texts for a Young Girl

I realize more and more as i see how different my jewish education background was from most, that of most children at that time. I went to a non jewish, scottish school so my life was fairly divided between the jewish and the non jewish part of her life. When i was 17, i went to study in a seminary in england for intensive jewish studies for young women. This was something of an ultra orthodox establishment, and it exposed me to that flavour of being jewish which i actually enjoyed.
