The Importance of Picking the Right Players

The last 15 years the top three teams in the draft 29 and 16 over their win total by an average margin of just under two games. The Celtics drafted Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum with the third overall picks in back-to-back drafts, Terry Rosier a year before that it was Marcus Smart  and they've been in five of the last seven Eastern Conference Finals. But if you pick the wrong players it doesn't mean any can we really blame them for Ben Simmons wasn't he supposed to be a once in generation like like Scottie Pippen says.
