I was writing through the fear of, what if i worked so hard to build this little family that i love, but inside of me i'm a very bad person? And then i wrote, hesitation wounds and a now, my son is 25, almost 26, and my daughter is 21. And i was with them yesterday, and i thought, like, look at that, like you didn't ruin them. I'm always surprised still, that somehow they're so beautiful.
