I'm always going to be passionate about knowledge but there's something also kind of boring about always being cognitive so that's where I'm trying to diversify. The question that comes up then is like well what's core like who am I aside from my curiosity and then it's the incoherence problem where you're always trying to connect the dots. You can feel a little bit disoriented when you're in that space of exploration and you can't avoid it because all of this stuff is part of your identity. We have this idea that you like run into a phone booth as Clark Kent and come out as Superman but that's not how identity works, he says.
