Is There a Replicator ETF?
The more people that get involved in managed futures, CTA trend following the better for the space. One of the best arguments I heard against a replicator index was like, what happens when they abandon the narrative? If it stops meeting its mandate, if it's supposed to replicate and it doesn't replicate, there needs to be a clear answer. It seems easy until you really get under the hood. So now active managers are going to rebut that and say, well, the value is added at the edges and you can't replicate what we do with all this value add.
