Is It Ethical to Burn a Source?
David totenberg: My source stands by it. They cannot reveal who they are for fear of rapritena, whatever. I think you'd have to know dead to rights they're lying. You only burn a source when they knowingly lie to you at the time that they told you the lie. The story has anged, ya, and the version i'm looking at on line is not up dated. And then if your source is that credible a a supreme court justice, fine, say your source stand by it. But now what's your position on if anot, if an anonymous source lies?
