The Rise of Spinoffs

Atmos filtration technologies raised over $275 million in its IPO today. The stock soared 11% in its first day of trading, continuing the recent stretch of strength among those spinoffs coming to market. Goldman Sachs says Wall Street wants a simpler story and younger traders are more tuned to buying companies that have a simplified message.
