The Cognitive Load of Rust

The Rust syntax is like C++ amped up. And the borrower checker for all of its wonder and being able to, you know, guarantee things around data races and whatnot. So I find when I do sit down and write Rust, I just spend so much time thinking about who owns what and how long we need to own it for that I don't feel like I spend as much time in C ++ thinking about this kind of stuff.
