I think an honest student of history should be really modest about those sorts of predictions. I feel like people got a lot more humble about predictions, especially people on the political left after Trump was elected. So although postmodernism seems these days like it's not going anywhere and it's going to be around for a long time, who's to say cultural currents turn really quickly? The tide comes in. The tide goes out. And so if any of your viewers find themselves kind of caught up in the idea that history has a direction, don't be on the wrong side of what that direction is.
