How Has Your Yorkshire Accent Affected You in the U K?

When i first came to japan, i still had a very strong yorkshire accnt. And i knew i was in trouble when the teachers from australia couldn't understand what i was saying. So slowly it's morfed into this weird makes of like kind of some americanisms. But if i talk to my brother on the phone, we instantly it kind of clicks back. If anybody's ever heard y Yorkshire dialect, you'll know, like the letter h doesn't exist, the word the disappears.
