The Importance of Visuals in Data Journalism
Data visitors were often just seen as an illustration, we can get a picture or fill out space. And now they're seen as much more in an integral, which is great. But it probably represents the fact that a lot of newsrooms don't have the resources to have a full design team. So you need to produce visuals and do everything together at the same time. That's the really powerful and exciting thing about working in this field.
