If you don't have conflict around ideas or circumstances, it ferments into conflict around people. And I think we have to understand it's cowardly not to tell people the truth. Had we not done that, our relationship would have taken a step backward and would have been so uncomfortable. We've all been there. It's about being a teammate as well as being a manager.
