Carbon Offsets Are a Very Powerful Tool to Address Climate Change
Carbon credits can be traded by anyone in the world and consumed by individuals or organizations to either compensate for that individual organizational omissions, or a to otherwise direct financing toward climate action. Carbon offsets have a really powerful toolin there, in the sense that you can actually create significant change in regions that would otherwise take decades. In some regions, like the world, creating electrical grids that are low carbon is not even on the table righti? The goal of climada is to disintermediate the voluntary carbon market, bring the entire thing on chain, and eventually scale up that market to ideally a hundred to a thousand times the current size of the market.
