Both the both traditional and social media have a massive negative bias right so if something makes the news by definition it's an anomaly. A lot of people i find in the u.s are more unsafe because of the selective news that you hear not realizing that a lot of the places they're talking about are going to be crime hotspots. I grew up in saudi arabia which is uh that's a whole another kettle of fish because as soon as you say saudi Arabia people's brains immediately jump to like two or three bad things that have happened with the government and that's just that's the whole perspectiveright. There can be there can be truth to it
