The Pill and Pocket Approach for Atrial Fib
The 2020 guidelines discuss requirements to follow within a category where you may be amenable to getting pill and pocket therapy. They also discuss contraindications and monitoring for those who are using a pill and pocket approach. The period of pocket approach is a good strategies for patient with symptomatic AF which are happening in frequently, perhaps a few times a year. There's some RCT showing that this approach can shorten the time of atrial fibrillation.
