A new study shows that Neanderthals didn't live in completely isolated communities. They lived in groups of about 20 individuals, which is slightly smaller than what we think Homo sapiens of that era lived in. And they also believe that from these groups of 20 members, about 60% of the females in the group would have migrated to somewhere else.
