The Rental Crisis in London
There's a tendency for everything to be branded as a crisis if something's a crisis it means politicians can get excited about it. The national average rent is now closing in on 1,200 pounds I can remember when that was about 900 that wasn't long ago and now in London two and a half thousand pounds is the average asking rent. It seems that the cause is actually really straightforward it comes down to three factors high demand low supply and people’s ability to pay so Rob let's cover each of those in turn and start with what has been an absolute explosion in demand certainly has been.
