Walmart has been using a chat chat bot, excuse me, developed by PACTIM Incorporated to bargain with suppliers for the best prices on its necessities. Three out of four suppliers prefer negotiating with the AI instead of humans according to the Walmart senior VP for international operations. However, Walmart is currently only using the AI to negotiate with vendors that supply the company with essentials like shopping carts and has yet to begin using it to negotiate on prices on in-store goods.
