Early on in Project Kaira, I tried to organise a dinner with four extraordinary leaders. And that didn't quite take off the way I expected... But if you're willing to be in it for the long haul and you are committed to building this coaching and consulting practice, the no's are just part of the game. The first ever event that I created was myself and Steve Chandler and we had 30 people in a room with us. We got 15 of them each by serving them one conversation at a time to get them an event with us. Now have a community of 150 people who show up at a time - because I spent 10 years almost building communities, serving people, creating value
